We welcome submissions from artists, but please bear in mind that we are a small gallery with a tight schedule and are unable to show more than a fraction of the fine work we view.
For an initial submission, we recommend you send us an e-mail containing jpg images of your work, or the address of your web site if you have one. Usually these will receive an immediate response. You may also supply us with a disk of images or an album of slides. If you include a stamped, self-addressed envelope, we will respond as soon as we we can find the time. This may take anywhere from one to ten weeks. We do, however, carefully review each submission.
Before approaching us, please visit the gallery, see what we show, and consider whether your work is compatible. If you live outside New York and are unable to come here, at least peruse our web pages. Although this might seem to go without saying, artists often waste our time and theirs with inappropriate material.
We do, from time to time, receive submissions that thrill us, and each year we add several artists to our roster. If you believe your work may be at home here, by all means submit a few sample images, either by e-mail to mail@nabigallery.com, or in person, or by post to Val and Min-Myn Schaffner, directors, Nabi Gallery, 137 West 25th Street, New York, NY 10001.
